Journal of Infrastructure

The Journal of Infrastructure seeks to provide a platform for healthy trade and debate regarding new ideas in the infrastructure sector. The journal would look at issues and concerns regarding infrastructure in India and in other countries in the world. Infrastructure would include physical, social, economic and financial infrastructure. The journal would also look at infrastructure issues specific to other countries at present but that may be relevant to India at a later date. The journal would publish research in the following areas.

• Infrastructure and the Economy
• Policy initiatives and Infrastructure
• Infrastructure and Technology
• Infrastructure Finance

The target audience of the journal would include business strategists, policy makers, corporate firms, and individual investors and investment firms, both domestic and international. The journal would also be useful for academics and students working in the field of infrastructure.
Academics, policy makers, practitioners, business strategists, and researchers are invited to submit 150-word abstracts to:

Review of Market Integration

The aim of the journal is to provide a forum for rigorous analysis on the role of markets and market-based institutions that ensure economic efficiency and welfare of the citizens.
The journal seeks to promote an interaction among policy makers, researchers, and practitioners on enabling markets for suppliers who can lower their costs and customers who get an efficient price. The broad areas will be market integration and role of institutions in sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, services, infrastructure, labour, rural sector, financial/money markets, and role of institutions that promote market-based
initiatives in India. The journal would also look at international experiences to understand the political processes and measures that have led to the adoption of a single market in these countries.

We foresee a world-class journal of utmost quality that promotes academic research and debate on enabling a market-based economy. To help us in this endeavor, we seek your contribution to the journal given your expertise and knowledge in the field.

  The WTO deadlock
